Compaq Presario Widescreen Notebook Ad on TV
Yeah I know this ad has been running quiet some time now. Its the same ad in which a cute chick accesses net in a coffee shop on her Widescreen notebook . And her dad signs in MSN Messenger. She goes about telling dad that she is mailing mom and dad her boyfriends pic. Everything fine with it, I dont need to tell what happens next. Quiet a good ad to showcase widescreen is *nice*. But what I noticed the last time I viewed is she mails the pic and tells that via MSN Messenger. Where are the Send file/image options in MSN Messenger gone? Forget uploading the images if its quiet a geeky thing. Could have just transferred via Messenger. How lame can you get with the MSN messenger.
Goofups in Ads! lol !

Omg! yea i noticed that too. So silly of these people. But anyone noticed how frequently that ad comes on TV. especially on MTV ..every other break on shows
!
I dint even have to wait more than 15 minutes to take that pic. damn my old pixelview card doesnt take screenies at more than that resolution by default.
Thanks for commenting techno aka atul

the ad only shows two things:
either the compaq advertisement department ppl don’t know anything about the images etc.
or, the compaq ppl think that the consumer is a fool and won’t come to know anything.
whatever be it. at the best, it’s lame. at worst, it’s even lamer.

the network disconnected icon was visible alright, but did u notice anything else ?
the girly is sitting in a cafe, and normally in pardes, cafe’s have internet connectivity via wifi to people who are in.
the wifi icon is visible and makes sense,
thats if u get to see the ad again…

hey sanman, what he meant by the statement tht the other network connection icon is seen disconnected that, they could have rather disable that for better presentation in the ad. Atul is probably aware of the same that they are connected to net via wifi
Anyways thanks for commenting!!
