A very nice day..
Yes, it was. Woke up this morning and felt quite boring. There had been a lotta buzz about the Digit Mumbai Meet III to be held this weekend. But sadly nothing was confirmed and the meet plans were already scraped in the back of my mind. So to make the day interesting I decided to do some gadget hunting and paid a trip to Lamington Road. The long trip was primarily for getting an additional 512 Mb ram for my laptop. As it turned out got an awesome deal for 2 x 512MB Sticks, which sums up to a total of 1 Gig RAM for a little over 5k INR + VAT. Then just out of curiousity, I was busy checking out some flash drive based mp3 players, while the guy was installing the RAM. Really liked a very cute, small and no-nonsense player from Transcend. Finally decided to buy it. The model was a T.Sonic 610 mp3 player with 1 gig memory. I would post a review on it soon after I have used it for a while. Also got an Altec Lansing 502i Headset for my bro. Well I guess i have bragged enough about my gadget shopping for the day but yeah it was exciting coz it was long due.
Then comes the Mumbai Meet part! While I was on my way to lammy, I got a call from Batty ( Shahab ) that there is a meet scheduled for 4pm in Phoenix Mall, Lower Parel. I din knew how on earth I would make it to the meet in so less time. Things turned out in favor of the meet. Finished the shopping in a lil over an hour. This had been the third digit meet. Everytime there were some new faces, this time it were two, namely Jatin and Mehul, and others including Deep, tuxfan, techno_funky, Harish, Batty and ofcourse myself.
But the funny part comes now, after all the gadget shopping I ran outta cash. Luckily I had enough to have something to eat and return home safely and test the new gadgets.

Hey can u tell me how is sound quality of ur MP3 player and for how much did u get those headphones and mp3 player???

The sound quality is very subjective but I am kinda very happy satisfied with the T.sonic 610 because it suits my need pretty well. The earphones are better than the ones bundled with most mp3 players, the player doesnt work on external batteries and it lasts for more than 15hrs at full charge and 80% volume and 50% contrast. Price 5.3k, comes with a leather pouch and arm strap too. I particularly like the pouch very much and use it everytime.
The ahp502i is a headset which costed me around 1.5k. If u want just a good headphone you should go for the 512i, same price.

Hi. Any idea as to how much does the 512Mb T.Sonic 610 cost for at lamignton road?I enquired at a shop in andheri; it was for Rs 3800/- there.

Yea, i guess thats the correct price. Is the shop where you inqured alfaa? you will get the best deal there. Go ahead with the player, it just rocks but i kinda messed with the earphones -the wire joining the port and the earbuds kinda got loose. Gives me a good reason to get an even better earphones. You might want to consider the 1gb variant too considering my friend got a deal at 5k flat some days back.
