If you are suffering from the no new ‘LOST’ this week syndrome, check out this video based on a Counter Strike map on the Lost storyline. And I dont need to tell you, whos perspective is shown in the video, none other than Jack’s. Pretty nice work with the map.
If you dont know whats “Lost’ is all about, the video makes little or no sense whatsoever.
Do not mistake it for some small office networking. Believe it or not it is the networking done in my house to access net from every corner in the home. With more than 3-4 systems simultaneously using the poor old Tata Indicom 64k connection via the router and the hub. Myself, My bro, Office systems all happily extract the last bit from the connection. And when pages start crawling, there is not a better sight in the world than to see those led’s on the hub blinking rapidly.
But still browsing is fun and I continue to be with the same connection.
Whats more amusing is that no one realizes what an assault the poor connection faces. Dad only knows one thing that adding a new lan wire to another room will make the net accesible there if need be. Mom wouldnt miss a chance to carry on with her online share trading viewing TV. People who use it in the Office groundfloor, feel they are using Broadband so they can carry on.

For a long time, I had been thinking of using the default Kubrick theme to get a minimalist feel to the blog. What could have been better than the default Kubrick theme? The default colors combinations of the Kubrick theme were not too appealing for me. So I decided to tweak the colors here and there with my pathetic programming and photoshopping skills. Though the final result after an hour’s of hardwork is not something which I had in mind while making it. But as things turned out, its atleast a dark theme which I had my eye on. I know the colors are pretty messed up at a couple of places and its not that easy on the eyes either.
I would just like to stick with the messed up theme for a while just because its my first try. Please bear with it if you happened to land here!

The Mango Season has begun. Its been three weeks now that everyone in my home has been enjoying them. I love mangoes just as anyone else does. But for some odd reason I dont even feel like having them this time around. It initially started as the normal ‘ First batch of mangoes arent that great so I should just hold back and munch on them after a while’ and now I dont even feel like having them. It has almost become a ritual to deny ‘aamras’ in lunch everytime mom asks for it over the past few weeks. Not to mention the mango slices after dinner!
But everything is gonna change tommorow. I cant hold on any longer!
If anyone else reading this is tired of using their browser with a blank homepage and need some change, here is a nice site with random quotes. It throws in a nice balance of witty quotes, humour and other nice lines which are even signature material. Almost all the stuff in there is new and unheard mostly, so you would never end up reading known things again. I have it as my homepage from quite a while. Its atleast better than having the wordpress dashboard as your homepage and clear the spam messages the first time you start your surfing session.

I used to be spend most of my time in the our company’s office - doing my studies and working on the laptop. A corner in there was just like my workplace. Personally I kinda liked the way it was before, since I used to get complete privacy after everyone left the office in the evening. The office is just below where we stay through a common entrance. Mom n Dad ofcourse did not like it much. But now as it turns out dad n mom seem to have got a nice idea to make me be with them inside the house. After grandma’s demise, her room wasnt used much. After about an year, dad decided to renovate the room a little, color it up and make me use it. I quite like the new room too. Would take a while to get used to the new room, eventhough the interiors and colouring have been worked out as per my suggestions.
