Yes finally, after every day crawling of the Google bot, for more than 5 months from the start of this blog, google has finally listed my blog in the search results. And I mean finally. I had lost all hopes for the same! Anyways better to be late than never.

Yes, a new domain, which is even smaller than the previous one (nothing to brag about) and the best part is its free. For those who are not aware, there was this buzz of the free .be domain a few days back. There were loads of signup for the same, and whats surprising they allowed 10 signup per IP. Google/Blogger Launches Blogger For Word Toolbar
In an effort to reduce the amount of step between writing and publishing your latest blog entry, Google/Blogger has developed a new toolbar that was designed to do just that.
It was revealed in a post on the Google blog that bloggers who use Google’s blog service and Microsoft Word in order to write their latest posts now have a toolbar that will reduce the amount of work required to post an entry written in MS Word: the Blogger for Word toolbar.
What makes this tool so attractive to those who like to ensure their copy is properly spelled and punctuated is the ability to push the “Publish” button on the toolbar and see their work actually posted on their blog. Not only can users publish their word document, the toolbar also allows users to select the “Save As Draft” button to save their work for a later date. Users can also edit their previous 15 posts by selecting the Open Post option. This opens the selected entry in Word, allowing you to make the necessary changes.
As with most Google-based products, the Blogger for Word toolbar is free to download. All that’s required to run the utility is Windows XP, a Blogger account, Word 2000 or higher. To download the Blogger for Word toolbar, visit here. You can also read their FAQ if you need further information.

For those who are unaware, Favicon is a shortform to denote a Favorites Icon. It gets displayed on the left-hand-side of my web address in the Address bar of compliant web browsers like Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla, and the others. It can also be seen next to the site’s name in lists of bookmarks or next to the page’s title in a tabbed browsing interface of some browsers.

The choice of this favicon is from my windows desktop. I most often use the default Bliss from the Win XP as my Wallpaper. In a way , this favicon virtually represents my desktop and I very much like it :d.
Well as they say, ” Well begun, is half done” , Seems quite easy to understand and digest in the first place. As my search for a free website hosting plan ends, i so realize the ground reality of the saying. The starting of the blog has taken too much of a time for anyones liking. Better late than never, finally I have my blog up and running on the http://www.sourabh.net/blog Url. After all the change of hosts, trial and errors, testing of blog and experimentations, I finally feel contented enough and all set to start the blog. Hopefully everything would go smoothly and would have no more issues with web-hosting, thats the last thing I want as of now. If that happens i would have no other options other than to go for a paid hosting which may cost some bucks
