Anagrams — Are These Hidden Truths ?

Friday, March 3rd, 2006

An Anagram, as you know, is a word or phrase made by transposing or rearranging the letters of another word or phrase. Found it floating somewhere in the www .

Dormitory - Dirty Room
Evangelist - Evil’s Agent
Desperation - A Rope Ends It
The Morse Code - Here Come Dots
Slot Machines - Cash Lost in ‘em
Animosity - Is No Amity
Mother-in-law - Woman Hitler
Snooze Alarms - Alas! No More Z’s
Alec Guinness - Genuine Class
Semolina - Is No Meal
The Public Art Galleries - Large Picture Halls, I Bet
A Decimal Point - I’m a Dot in Place
The Earthquakes -That Queer Shake
Eleven plus two - Twelve plus one
Contradiction - Accord not in it
Princess Diana - Ascend in Paris

“To be or not to be that is the question, whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.”
And the Anagram:
“In one of the Bard’s best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero, Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten.”

“That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” *Neil Armstrong
The Anagram
“Thin man ran; makes a large stride, left planet, pins flag on moon! On to Mars!”

Finally…
The following phrase:
PRESIDENT CLINTON OF THE USA can be rearranged (with no letters left over, and using each letter only once) into
TO COPULATE HE FINDS INTERNS

Lol, some are just made up too good to be true.

Insane!

Ever seen so many graphic cards together? Not me for sure! These pics of 38 graphic cards are from an eBay Australia auction. So if someone is interested you can strike a deal here. Hurry up if you are serious, not much time remaining. Got this link while checking out the Techenclave forums.

Couldnt think of a more appropriate word than Insane for the title. Insane for the simple fact of taking a pic of so many cards together where most people crave for one.

What is wrong Tata Indicom?

What is wrong with your Internet billing? You have a scheme called as post-paid connection and you take the entire months plan charges in advance. Well thats another thing. What about the billing? Earlier the bills used to be sent by courier at the start of every month, and in between you discontinued sending the bills by courier. Asked an extra sum of 50 Rs to get the bill couriered! but that is incase you need a physical bill. You promise to send an email with the bill details for the amount you have to pay for your Internet Account. Everything was fine with the electronic bills, but from the last two months I havent recd any email except for the long lists of paid services you provide. Do you expect everyone to login to their account, check if the bill has been issued, what amount they have to pay everytime, each month again and again? And if we are late, you never miss an opportunity to call up and say that the bill payment is due.

All I need is the bill directly physically or by mail.

RapidShare just got more buggy?

Monday, January 30th, 2006

Looks like even the Rapidshare servers have crippled all thanks to heavy loads on their server. If the code and counter weren’t enough, now non-premium users have to even select the network to download from.

The networks are termed Net-Mirror ‘Alpha’ and ‘Omega’ .It only adds to frustration selecting the network, waiting for the counter and then enter the code. Sucks! I always preferred rapidshare to download stuff from, if the file-size was less than 50MB or so. The new feature doesnt mean much to people like me with narrowband.

As prolific as it gets

Thursday, January 26th, 2006

I was shocked to see the data transfer stats for the last few days. I guess I am breaking my own records. The data transfers I reached monthly, are now coming in less than a fortnight. All these figures, when I am not really making an effort to download like crazy. Its mostly torrents while I am away from my laptop. But this thing on blog is more out of frustration than being happy about downloading so much. I have had it enough with Tata Indicom Broadband. Could very well turn out to be the last month on it. What else is a person expected to react when you pay for a 128k connection and get only 64k speeds. And you have to follow all those paperwork, formalities, payment of dues - physically to actually get the scheme changed and switching off the connection after this month. And we are supposed to be in the electronic age! Even a small thing like a account change with a company like Tata involves so many useless things. Who is running away with your money! I have had made the payment in advance for like 2 months, a couple of times before, and now to change the plan I am expected to pay 38 Rs beforehand coz afterall thats what i am due to pay.

And how prolific the last few days were,
